Nice question. I can give you first the definition of stupid and then enter more deep in the context. So first if you have some time to spend i can tell you why i asked if MEVs are a stupid and finally you will be delighted about what sense is meant to be stupid in this context. First here is the definition of Stupid found on google. "Stupid" is an adjective used to describe someone or something as lacking intelligence, good judgement, or common sense. It can also be used to describe something that is uninteresting, pointless, or annoying. Overall, it is a negative and often offensive term used to criticize someone or something's intellectual abilities or actions. I used the term Stupid in this context with the second usage which is something uninteresting, pointless, or annoying. More focused on "annoying". So now that you've understood in what sense i am using stupid you have automatically unlocked a clue on the context. "Are MEVs a stupid thing ?" is also meant to be: "Are MEVs uninteresting, pointless and annoying ?" Are MEVs supposed to exist for the technological evolution ? Are MEVs profitable or just a pointless money spending? Are MEVs annoying ? Finally, all these questions could be simplified in a one line question which i asked before: Are MEVs a stupid thing?
