Telethon file_id is dead, gone, killed and murdered, clean shot, don't try to do it, just let it rest in peace the direct answer is "don't use an external botapi file_id in telethon (or even internal)", there was a seperate library for it, but that's also dead and wasn't merged due to license compatibility issue
