know is not 100% possible since even adobe, autodesk, windows, etc even get cracked. but i want to know that how can i secure my app from crack so at least need pro to do that and since most of our (our mean dot net programmer, not mine project) that is simple and has a lot alternative pro don't waste their time to crack some small app.
the only things that i know is obfuscate but it has no free solution for that and i have to pay a lot money.
one way might be requiring internet to work and you can check the status of them ? not sure thoo haven't worked with desktop apps much
when anyone can what
you can try code obfuscation if you are concerned about the reverse-engineering of your .dll or .exe files with decompilers. it will just make it more difficult for reverse-engineers to read the decompiled code, but be aware that it comes with its own tradeoffs. My team usually uses Crypto Obfuscator (from LogicNP); it has configurable options, commandline and GUI they might be better alternatives, you can try google searching things up
i know about that but that tools need money and i don't want do that.
