to MySQL server outside using JDBC? Was it successfull? Thanx

With jdbc you need a stable connection that is not guaranteed by the library itself. Rest service is the better choice

I didn’t try, but I think that is OK. beacause a jdbc driver just send your queries according to the message format that the DBMS accept. So if you access to the network and mysel server is visible for your app so you can go on …
