transitioning to a senior level. If there are any, I would like to hear about your preparation path.
Do you have a recommended list of literature or resources specifically for passing a senior-level asessment?
I don't think it's we can help you with. I mean you should yourself check with your current employer or your next one what their view is related to a job title with senior in the name.
Thanks for sharing! I've never seen "System design interview" book, that's interesting. Will give it a try. Regarding ".. in action" series, I disagree. That's merely a branding thing. It all really depends on the subject and the author. If an author got a contract with some other publisher, the title would be different, but the style, contents and quality would be the same. Off the top of my head I can remember brilliant "spring security in action" by Martin Splica, which is one of the best in-depth guides about spring security. Well, at least among those that I saw. But yeah, I agree, some books of that branding are very shallow. I glanced over "spring boot in action" and it's really not that good. Too many topics, only scratches the surface, no good structure, and so on. It really all boils down to the particular author. To write a good book you have to be not just a great engineer and specialist in the subject, but also an exceptional teacher and author in general
