Why is it that youre accredited only if you make

Exactly.. it's big bull shit. I did only high school and self studied everything I know now in the last couple of years with Google and Youtube... At 28 I now have 1.7M in total in crypto. - I worked in the supermarket stacking shelves, investing every $$ I did not need for the coming 5 to 10 years. ( abit over 4 years in the space now )

Well yes I am privileged to have full on education/information on the internet. But Stocks exist for a lot of years.. so Have to say.. financial education became so easy just because of the internet.

Yes more risk... nobody in 2018 told me crypto or bitcoin is here to stay.. i had to figure it out myself and "believe" while i was dollar cost averaging. But we all are still very early in the whole crypto space... Everyone reading this, in this group... and who DCA ( money they don't need ) + hodl will make it long term.

Yes, I’m a hodler, not a trader. Which is also part of the reason why accruing interest on my crypto is important to me. I had a plan that was centered around using the Celsius platform, but now I’ll have to figure out something else and spend a bunch of time researching the next best place to hold my crypto. It’s a pain in the butt…

Thanks very much, I really appreciate it. I’ll take you up on that! 🙏 I am just disappointed because I really felt an affinity for Celsius, especially as a somewhat newcomer to crypto, and I enjoyed watching Alex’s AMAs on Fridays….and now I can’t be a part of it. 😢 I know it’s the SECs fault, not Celsius, but that doesn’t change the fact that I can’t use it now.

Yes it sucks for sure;.... really hit me hard as well... hopefully the SEC or what ever government body will reverse this stuff. I listened to twitter spaces today and Otis said that there are elections every 2 years for these guys

Because they "want to protect" normal US people.... They think people are stupid and will lose money. But if you don't make mistakes, you can not learn. Imo it's a stupid rule... Rich getting richer, keep the poor poor. You can also have 1M in assets ( without primary home ) to become accredited . - Saw some people make it to the 1M with crypto investing tho.. so there is always hope.. Keep educating yourself on: money, the banking system, economics, investing in general.. a bit of psychology can't hurt either. :) You will make it.
