Question

What happens when the circulating supply will reach the “total”

supply? Because the gap between them are getting closer and closer because the circulation supply is increasing about 2% each month, let’s say 20% a year.

When this happens will the “total” supply remain increasing 5% per year or could it be faster?

The inflation for the protocol is set at 5% (this is something that can change in the future via a governance vote). The emissions of NEAR can be offset by network activity, therefore the net increase may be somewhat lower.
