There are 3 chats in which there are many posts

with photos. For example, there are 10 photos taken from these 3 chats. You need to determine which photo is from which chat.

I want to first go through telethon and collect all the photos from the chats. I tried to store it in bytes and then compare it with the bytes of the search image, but the bytes do not completely match. How else can this be implemented? Maybe telethon has something similar to file_id?

i mean i have 10 pictures on my laptop from these chats. and I need to write code to understand which photo is from which of these 3 chats. To do this, I throw one of the images that I am looking for into "saved messages" and compare the bytes of the image with the bytes of all photos in these chats

I see nothing related to telethon in this. Telegram may compress the images if they're resent... and images have different sizes, each telegram app may downalod it in different sizes than telethon's download_media. do your tests first on samples and digest hashes of same images downaloded from different places

@search7kmBot this bot searches the database with chats in this way, if you send it an original photo. I think it was implemented through the telethon

what i said still applies, your "bytes" of images may have different sizes, this fully unrelated to telethon, and file_id won't help. the bot just gathers hashes of media
