Anyone familiar with this book? I'm looking to brush up

on the basics and learn a thing or two about proper design techniques. This seems to be the book I'll get unless someone else has other suggestions.

I wasn't aware it had been reedited for PHP7. I read it a few times and learned a lot. It helped me in my transition from spaguetti PHP to modern MVC frameworks (circa 2013 I believe). You won't regret buying it in my opinion. Might read it again.
