Celsius is slow approving loans and doesn't warn you about

whitelisting addresses beforehand? It's your fault! It's a hodler community, don't get your money out 😂

I disagree my last loan was approved in a few hours, and all of previous loans were processed in a timely manner. and you do not need to be warned about whitelisting addresses

All my loans took days to approve. Maybe it depends on the size? I'm not in the US btw. Yes you should get a warning. Because whitelisting address is usually a feature that the user can choose to activate or not. On Celsius you won't be able to withdraw the first time because you need to whitelist an address first. They don't tell you that

It's your own govt regulations fault if the loan is slow to approve because of additional information required. Many region can't even get loans because of their govt regulations.

There's no regulatory issue in my jurisdiction. It's just Celsius being slow. Also I don't know what they need to check to be honest, loans should be approved automatically without checks since you take my collateral

i am not in the USA either, and just because your loan took days you do not represent the entire community most us do not have that experience. regarding withdrawal addresses you should set your withdrawal address before you need your money most people know this.

celsius take security very seriously and this why whitelisting withdrawal address with a 24 hours lock is perfect.

I'm not saying it's not a nice security feature. I'm saying you should warn the user beforehand. It's not so hard to understand tbh

24hr lock give users additional time to freeze their account in case of hack , recheck their withdrawal address etc. This is additional security features of Celsius. Whenever u deposit, there will be future withdrawal. So whitelist is a requirement sooner or later. Users must learn to understand deposit and withdrawal comes in pairs.

and it is no big deal when you find out, 24 hours like the next you can withdraw.,

It is a big deal for many

no its not a few newbies in the chat does not represent the thousands of users that do not have an issue with this.

exactly my point. Celsius should warn you about the fact that whitelisting is mandatory, and encourage you to whitelist an address as soon as you deposit, instead of finding out at the time you need to withdraw the funds

Do I need to whitelist every single coin address or just Bitcoin address?

You need to whitelist every new address that you are withdrawing to.
