different, why are other crypto allowed in the US, but not CEL?
Great question
Celsius does this out of an abundance of caution. This is one of the reasons to trust Celsius over others, they are taking their time and doing it right. FYI - Celsius provides a large chunk of the yield for Voyager
Where did you gather data to know it is a large chunk?
I haven't "gathered the data", but it has been mentioned multiple times in twitter spaces
So no source for how much it actually is?
I don't think those numbers are or would ever be publicly available
It's between Celsius and Voyoger, such detailed information normally won't be seen in public.
Because Celsius treats CEL token as a security until there is regulatory clearity.
It’s your own coin. Doesn’t make sense that I have to go to a swap to get. If I can hold it in Celsius, It makes sense that I should be able to buy it there too.
Maybe that’s too cautious?
Regulations are regulations. Celsius operates all over the world, not just the US
Gemini and many others have their own coins I can purchase in the US
Not all coins are the same. Cel token was ICO’d to help fund the startup
They have to follow the regulations, it doesn't matter if it's their coin or not
You can buy CEL on Uniswap
I tried today, $100 gas fee
They have legal team and so on, I trust their judgement 💯
Ok, good to know
Then wait for lower gas fees, or you can buy it via OTC desk
You can learn how to use Polygon and try QuickSwap.
