Currently i have hodl mode on and am earning interest

on deposits. if i were to take out a loan in a stablecoin, does this mean i have to turn off hodl mode to send the loaned money to an external wallet?

You will always earn interest if HODL mode is on or off.

People get hacked. Some people live in dangerous counties. If your phone has your 2FA + your Celsius app there is potential for theft. HODL mode gives high net worth individuals and extra layer of protection.
