It seems that a lot of people took loans to leverage themselves to buy more crypto. Then when the price dropped so much they got wiped out as they did not fully understand what they were doing, and the risks involved.

Why

Offering CEL token as collateral was probably the dumbest move by Celsius, appreciate the intent but it screwed over many people who didnt expect the token to tank by more than 90%
