Hi, i wanna make a script that saves dynamic content

(that changes everytime u visit the page) inside tags from an HTML page.
(ES: <p id="md5">9b6e40057278e217b3750e22b524232a</p>)
any suggestion about how can I do it?
i think that I must use Regular Expressions but i wanna avoid using them if possible
