And if you're generating random strings, why don't you generate the 4 small groups instead of one big group of strings?

Well, you've provided me a good answer once so I wouldn't say you're a random person. So the thing is I want to work with a range of values and i want to write those values to different files. So let's say i have a list of names and I want to organise them alphabetically; all letter "A" names go to this text file; and so on till i have looped through my list
