Everyone is doing what they can right now.

They should tell users whether they have the assets to cover users or not. Meaning, funds are safe, just not liquid. Feels bad that its now the second day and no further explanation has been given.

That would be a great relief and one of the better ideas. A third-party audit that confirms asset solvency. We would all be fine with that information.

If the coins are illiquid they still exist. And will be available when liquid. If they make them liquid now and shortfall on there obligations to their own loans to creditors, then as soon as withdrawals open, the liquidity drain will destroy our deposits. Nothing staked on Eth is liquid as per one example.

Absolutely. As I hate saying this, pausing withdrawals might have saved our asses. I know that might not be the popular opinion and I, for one, hate the fact I can't access my tokens, but I get it.

I agree with that point, but I always felt as much as Alex harped about bank failures and shadyness, Celsius should have been able to fight off a bank run because it's essentially a proof of reserves

they did the right thing, problem is there is too many noobs that entered panic mode cause of extreme fud and it was obvious that something like this could happen. I withdrawal all my assets prior to that just to be on safe side.. think Celsius will handle this, will see how strong the community really is after they allow withdrawals again...

Right. That is my shared point. Many people online are freaking out and spreading FUD when they need need to take a breath, take a step back and try to shed some of the PTSD from the last few months. I know this is hard. I really do. I am not good at it yet. But, give it a minute and think about how determintal a bank run would be for the market. It would be disasterous. Celsius is a MASSIVE company with numerous relationships and investments. They must have fail safes to ensure their own solvency and the consumer confidence of their customer base. Don't believe me? Look at the last 24 hours and all the better news coming out. We are better today than yesterday gang.
