dao and freed that collateral, any thoughts?
celsius closing positions, is essentially what most of us are assuming they are doing..... unwinding all their positions the hope is that it is so they have all the liquidity they need to handle the tsunami of withdrawls... and then this just gets chalked up as a hard lesson for celsius and they are able to survive and try and build back reputation... the WORST case scenario.... is they are unwinding all their positions, not to make whole all of us, but because alex is making sure all his biggest creditors/investors are made whole and then he'll BK and we all are stuck holding the bag (because laywers were called in and celsius hasnt said ANYTHING..... im afraid there is a high chance of this option happening)
i think if there are loads of lay-offs.... then the worst case scenario is even more likely....... celsius probabaly spent a lot of time/resources vetting and training their employees.... and in this employment market, cutting loose talent is probably not a decision made lightly..... only reason they would lay off loads of people is because they know they arent surviving (i dont know if they are laying off anyone.... im just saying if they are)
Account manager are still around and they have been answering phones even if after 45 minutes,
celsius has 300m in AUM in mid 2020 and survived fine….with some descaling they can easily come back from this
lay-offs are 100% guaranteed….thats not a sign of weakness, thats a sign of crypto winter decreasing demand for borrowing and yield. they certaintly planned for this
mass lay-off's i mean
You guys are still thinking Celsius takes directional bets with leverage right...
