Nope, same as Celsius. No insurance.
What does it mean to be FDIC insured on Voyager? Great question. Your US dollars held on Voyager are insured up to $250,000 by our banking partner, Metropolitan Bank, so your cash is safe with us.
That won’t help you. FDIC insurance protects USD deposits against the failure of the bank in which Voyager places them. It does not protect them against the failure of Voyager itself. Voyager is not FDIC insured. So if the bank went bankrupt the funds would be covered, but that is not going to happen, so pretty useless like any other insurance in the crypto space.
USD is FDIC insured I t he case of the failure of the bank or voyager it's self. It is a brokerage and the FDIC extends to then as well...only with USD
You sure about that?
