Highly unlikely reason. If they are selling to continue operations, assuming the lawyers have adviced a bk, this makes the board personally liable for any losses accrued beyond the point bk was adviced.
So you are saying they can sell all assets to continue operations until assets run out, when being advised to go for bk? Maybe so but my point is, doing this makes the board personally liable for any additional losses from the point bk was advised. I can't imagine they'd want to ruin their own lives as well. It make more sense to just sell everything and settle up in the order they owe creditors than just to continue operations and owe more to creditors with less assets
Yeah it’s unlikely imo. Paying off debts & cutting staff Indicated opposite of BK Anything is possible , just the probabilities don’t swing that way
