Celsius was sold to everybody as Unbank yourself. Made me feel

all warm and fuzzy, getting rid of the traditional banking system that has kept us poor for years. Here was a new system, nearly like crowd funding, we would all be in this together, and share in the good times, woth 80 % of the profits going to the depositors instead of a select few at the top.

With Celsius after freezing our money and banning all withdrawals, it seems like they are trying to save their own arse, instead of their depositors, so exactly like the traditional banking system. This whole debacle should have been depositors first, from the very outset, like crypto was meant to be.

Now it turns out Alex and Celsius are just like all the rest. Nothing has changed. We were all hoodwinked and scammed.

Can anyone tell me honestly why Celsius is better than a traditional bank? Seriously

I thought crypto was going to be the answer to fight back against an oppressed long established system of unfairness.

make no mistake, Celsius and banks are not friends. in order to have a banking license, you must become a slave to the system and they would never allow Celsius to be part of it simply because of what they stand for (also you need to bribe your way in with tons of money to join the club). Any because Celsius proves that you can be bank and reward its users more, it is a huge threat. It is just unfortunate that bank runs something that has always plagued banks, and especially when crypto has limited supply instead of unlimited printing
