reliable update without FUD or hype?
We don't know yet. Too early to know
Chances are very slim tbh.. in the first hearing, celsius lawyer has said the crypto assets in the “earn” account belongs to the company not the users. Which means celsius has no obligation to let users withdraw the crypto assets.
They do mention temporarily halted withdrawal right?
It is more of legal language to reduce their liability. Otherwise, they could just say it was a scheme to take users' crypto.
Yes but Alex is acting in his self interest instead of the depositors..
Ohhhhh this is a interesting opinion.
Do you mean literally just in his self interest? There is the other team , his partner Daniel Leon and Nuke , and the the company.
I mean Alex is trying his best to save his butt.. if somehow Alex managed to find a way to be judged innocent in court without paying the depositors the crypto assets, the profits he earned from these year through celsius is his to keep in a legal way.
he ll never walk the streets again without looking over his shoulder
Good point. its a big company though, He might just be doing whatevers best for it. Alex had enough money already right? They might not have much of a future without their network though
WTF! For real they said that!?!
that was a selling point. apparently greed is bigger

When companies go bankrupt they your money. Alex misrepresented Celsius for a long time I know that.
Check the tweet I send u.. the summary of the first hearing is in the link..
I'm virtually it's 300k total active accounts, not 300k with $100k+. Getting mad money Kramer vibes from this guy
True... It's 300K accounts with over $100 USD
Also it doesn‘t change the fact that we have a claim against celsius in the amount of our crypto. It‘s not like we gifted our crypto to celsius
