Does anybody else find it strange how telegram allows you

to use a local image as thumbnail of inline query results if (and only if) the response to the query is InputBotInlineResultPhoto, but not when you respond with an InputBotInlineResult where you must use an InputWebDocument as a thumbnail and not a local image?

like seriously wtf Telegram… I cannot customize the thumbnail of my articles using a local image, but I can use a local image as thumbnail if I am not responding with an article...

am I missing anything here? :)))

That's how Telegram works. you'll need to gib sum suckles to get answers in this platform. maybe @tdlibchat i guess url is better than uploaded things. they don't like bots bloating the platform, and keep them seperate so server is free to deliver it faster at any time, without expirey. and reducing upload clutter. or some smart-ass line like that should be it.
