simple hello world in gRPC, i shared screen , accessed documentation , used example code as i coded along since didn't have time to read through documentation but can glue together example codes to achieve goal. interviewer dropped the interview. was it fair? i knew the gRPC internals previously in python! due to syntax hence used example codes!
What do you mean by "dropped the interview"?
no, it's not fair. it's very unprofessional of them.
The interviewer wasn't a developer. I'm certain of it. That's sadly becoming the norm across the globe: the first person evaluating you is a HR guy who doesn't know much about technology. However, there's also the chance that guy works in the tech field (not a developer though) and don't know what to expect from the interviewees, so you dodged a bullet there, because imagine getting teamed up with people that hired? In either case, don't get cocky: continue learning of software engineering is agreed to only be 3 years.
