How should I develop my table schema since there will

be a lot of variation?

I don't know the values for some elements, for example for some elements there can be one or 10 and they can be diferent for each element.

For example, some Species dont have more than 8 ranks while others can have up to 15 or even more, and some of those ranks change name over different species
