Read more code and try to understand the approach, the patterns used by others then try to write your own code with same patterns and with some variations. This way you will know the best/worst parts others are using, which we often thinks what I am missing? I would suggest GitHub to start looking for good, well formatted code. Note: There are many other good ways of improving yourself in technologies. I am currently focusing of this one right now.
