to go through his code and he found:

Removed the empty line over php and everything works. Someone REALLY should write a pull request to lint / show a better error. Or at least show an error! ;)

Haha, good that you fixed it, i think that is the kinda thing that a php developer (should) know about doc with only PHP (start the doc with <?php and you don't need/should close it), but yeah, is kinda weird that the linter don't try to fix it.
