I'M more a fan of POSIX regular expressions. Lookarounds are

PCRE. You don't need the first lookbehind however. A simple ^ asserts the same thing. That lookbehind just adds to the steps that engine should take. Also the positive lookahead (?=\s) shouldn't be there. Because there is no whitespace following 6 in 5.6. Until now it doesn't match anything.
