master php.. somehow beginner..though i've been a programmer for years(windows based programs)
I'd like to be told when is literally the best time to learn a framework in php?
Considering php itself as pure, im sure its not enough to set up a complete website at all..
Experienced programmers answer please
deep php knowledge is enough , but the experience that is needed for creating middle level websites comes with working on frameworks.so starting php is not hard.but keeping on progress a little bit hard.my advice is try to make a simple blog or news webiste then go onto yii2.
I think using a framework and reading their code helps a lot with learning a language. I learned a lot using and reading Symfony back in the day. These days you could also go for independent libraries who conform to the PSR and build your own framework with them. Check https://www.php-fig.org/ for the PSR and http://thephpleague.com/ for a collection of great libraries
