What about Laravel? They choose to use CamelCase style but I don't think think they would be camel or lower case problem in file naming of php in general. php is sensitive case - language, that's for sure but actually, I cannot speak alot about Laravel, I've tried but recently focused on Codeigniter projects. In years I've seen only Java/Javascript-ish using the camel case in filenaming, not so much on php
