I want to write a function to send a message

to slack channel. It is part of a challenge. the only thing that they provided me with is the slack account email address. Can someone help me out on how can I write this function?

what have you searched?

anything you can imagine! but nothing shows up the only hint that I have is that I must using email address integration

nope, u havent anyway, use the request module basic guide: import request module use chat.postMessage endpoint to post a message to a channel create a dictionary of data is with the channel email address and the message make a post request Slack API with the URL and data

can you please provide me with some more details? I have read about the requests module and using it with the api endpoint using a token but I couldn't generate that token
