That's not a good idea. Create a thread pool and let the threads read different files and insert them into the DB. Or if it is really just one file then that's just bad but you probably have to just process it in one go. That can still mean you can read data and then insert it, then read the next and insert it etc. So you don't need to insert the whole thing in one go (if it really is one file which I doubt)
