I needed to convert a pointer to a numerical data

type. While the uintptr_t type is the recommended approach, is using size_t also enough? (Why I don't prefer the previous is because it requires a seperate header file which I may or may not be able to use depending on the requirements.) For reference, the code will only run on x86_64 Linux.
