platform desktop apps?
Vim, Emacs, GNOME Builder, Kate, ...
I'm not talking about the code editors. The framework to develop cross platform desktop apps is what I'm looking for.
Ohh! Flutter, Qt, GTK (not the best at being cross-platform though), Tauri (web-based)
Flutter is quite new in this field
It's even unstable as far as i tried With snap it crashes Developers said they are still working on it
Yeah and the Linux support is very snap-oriented :(
Oh thanks a lot! By the way, do you know how apps made with electron like VSCode store data locally? Like does it have a database running in the background?
Electron provides various APIs to access the host system's storage
Like can I create a stock management app with a whole lot of stock data stored locally without a dB running on a server?
How to start learning with electron ?
Docs are sufficient?
Look up tutorials
Okay will find
I have done very little work with Electron
Thanks! :)
I'm looking forward to build javascript projects
