If you wanted to identify if a person signing up

to your site is a woman, how would you proceed? What would be the best way we can do this, without costing us a bomb.

It's not necessary that technology itself should solve this problem, any creative idea would suffice.

Use case - we are building a website meant only for women, we need their contact numbers so that they can connect with other women, but a lot of creeps out here in our country (*we invented bobs and vagene*) would make women hesitate to hand out their numbers to us.

other than just asking, you would need someone's ID to do that in any official capacity

Why do you need their numbers in the first place? Can't they communicate via your service?

that's... a very odd case. All I can think of is facial recognition or national ID
