Hi guys. How is it like to build web applications

with java in comparison doing the same thing with other languages like python or js? any difference? i heard people saying that web development with java is dying...?

It's mostly depends on what that "web application" is supposed to do. Google actually is also a web application In general, Java is less suitable for very simple apps. And for those where correctness and security is of lower importance. It would take more effort and time to develop same simple functionality compared to nodejs or python. However, for something of middle or high complexity, Java is probably a better choice in a long run. Particularly considering the fact that both python and js are dynamic languages. And js becomes a pile of unmaintainable mess when codebase grows
