Hey Guys. I've been developing a java app for desktop

but each time i add some data that reference some of the file based files i get a 'java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space'. i've googled the problem and increased the VM options to -Xms1024m but still no luck. Any help?

Can't say anything unless we see relevant code.. Maybe you are creating millions of big objects only to throw them away before garbage collector can collect them. Who knows..
