Well, I'm not a great expert in it, but a widely used subset of "context free" (whatever it means) notation is "BNF" (Backus Naur form). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backus%E2%80%93Naur_form?wprov=sfla1 This may be starting point to discover more about the subject.
