Every thing has a beginners talk. I have seen

developer who thing they know Java until they had to eat the real bone... And the question was like, but he knows spring framework right?
So, it is a MUST, learn the language first..
The real issues right now with many developer using JS. They know the framework they are using but had little knowledge of "vanilla" JS itself..

While this is true, in a company you need to do this all the time. Most of the times you don't have enough time to learn the language, so you just learn the framework
