Hello everyone, I need some advice regarding current eCommerce technologies:

for about 4 years I have been developing showcase sites / simple blogs for small businesses and freelancers, using static site generators (gatsby and hugo) and hosting on Netlify by combining it with a headless cms in in order to offer a complete, fast and inexpensive product. In the last few months I would like to learn how to develop eCommerce to broaden the clientele I can target, but I don't know which technology to start: there is Shopify (with its react Hydrogen.js framework), WordPress (woocommerce, ecc) even if it has always avoided, there is also the possibility of developing my own system from scratch (perhaps with Node) .. what would you recommend? (obviously I want to avoid systems where you take a theme, install it and bye bye, at least the frontend I wish I could develop it from zero).

probably search github for "commerce" and then filter projects w/ language? that should produce some great projects such as as saleor, vendure,
