, does that mean that I must install all databases on a linux distro on wsl too ???

No. Databases don't even typically run on the same...

I'm already struggling installing mo godb on the ubuntu that I got on wsl Getting errors. So you mean I can just install mongodb on windows and make it work with my app on wsl, Is it complex to connect them together ???
