I don’t believe in the rich club. All users should have access to all utility. Discounts on loan interest is D level utility I expect more from the creator of VoIP

Earn-in-CEL being available in the U.S. only to accredited investors is entirely a regulatory thing. Celsius is concerned the SEC will view the CEL token as a security, so they can only legally offer it to accredited investors. For their part, the accredited investors must hold the earned CEL for at least one year before selling. If it were up to Celsius, I am confident they'd love to make CEL more accessible to all users.

💯 I'm not a fan of this type of regulation, either. But, I like Celsius being in business so I don't mind them being cautious. My hope is that enough accredited investors choose to earn-in-CEL that it pushes CEL demand and price.

👍 CelsiusX might be that catalyst, starting in February. But, I'm trying to keep my expectations lower for CelsiusX initially. Between that and the new team Celsius formed to focus on CEL utility, I'm encouraged that 2022 will be interesting for CEL than 2021.

If you get accredited, you can earn in cel in a few weeks. you can already get discounted interest on loans even if you are not accredited.
