So here's what happened. I had deployed a server which

calls another https server long time back probably 6months ago and this was working fine it.
And in the recent times from a past few days I'm seeing an error which states: x509 certificate is expired or not valid
I'm wondering how it worked earlier?

check your system clock or the target url to see if the certificate is expired

check the time on the machine you are running this on. make sure it has not drifted too much check if that service has an expired certificate
