file upon compilation? I'm interested in capturing the current version number
Build script to create a header that has a global with version number?
Sure - how would I do that? Lol
No sir - I'm using theos and it uses make
You can bash it like: grep control.conf -e "version number:" > version.text cat verHeaderStart.text version. text verHeaderEnd.text > version.h Only, please don't bash, write the Python equivalent like a responsible programmer
Dunno Theos.. ik how to do it in cmake tho.. Anyways here is a good start point for Theo's : https://www.reddit.com/r/jailbreakdevelopers/comments/2xmdng/guide_stop_theos_from_changing_version_number/ Happy hacking
Thanks for the info brother
Don't think this is what I'm looking for
You want to export version info from a config to your app build right?

We will not spoon feed you.. that has parts and stuff you can google and hack and find the solution.. Also as i said i know 0 theos
