I myself dont have much experience with it but i have friends who used this framework and replaced it with react native after a while. They told me its only good with small applications not for big ones The main problem is its performance It has 2 kind of library in it One of them is shared libraries that will link to the main libraries to make the app work and this is the problem You can create a sample application with xamarin and with android studio Just compare the size of apk they make. If you want to learn cross-platform framework for mobile application my friends suggested me react native only
