about the same in all kinds of 2d rendering engines. webgl, canvas 2d, opengl, etc.
I just can't seem to find a good mechanism to draw multiple lights.
I can't draw it as an additive lighter layer on top of darkness - it will wash out the colors.
I can't create multiple circles that are transparent inside and dark outside - layering two lights will become darker..
How do you solve that?
Blend, or add with normalize to a clamped threshold or do a logarithmic mapping.
