Hello I'D like to know which IDE (or code editor) that

the popular programming language C/C++ developers use?
Also, are some of them develop that language using Visual Studio IDE?

Like, if I'm a Windows developer and want to develop a programming language based on C/C++, what IDE/code editor should I use?
Should I use Visual Studio IDE? Or uninstall Windows to start developing on GNU/Linux OS :)

Why do you care what other folks use? Use the one that is most convenient for you unless you work for an organisation that requires you to use a specific IDE. I use Visual code btw. I use Fedora btw

I don't like VS IDE very much for C/C++ projects, and I like to use VS Code (in Ubuntu and Debian) because Windows make things a little harder, like Windows Socket API and printing Arabic string to the console. But the open-source programming language repository owner use VS iDE, and I'm forced to do the same; so we can face the same errors not different ones.
