What about the emulator
I heard if I use emulator+ android studio , lappy hangs in extreme cases burst
So I will be using my phone instead of emulator is it ok to do ??
Hmm-mm ok By using phone what would be the very first step I am having Oppo mobile and Asus lappy Settings>developer option>debugging on Usb connected to lappy On my phone interface comes tranfer files or charge only then what I have to do ?
As the friend said , it is ok but in my idea , it can annoy you a bit so you might need to apply some other changes... Like disabling some extensions
Hmm-mm like ?? Please tell I am a complete beginner
There are some extensions in android studio which run when using android studio , so they dedicate a part of ram to themselves. In fact , they are not necessary so you can save a part of ram by diasbling them. I cannot exactly remember which extensions are not necessary but you can find them by searching in google so that you will have a list of unessential extensions to disable. Previously , I had a weak computer (i mean it was not relevant for running android studio)... One of the other things you can do to be able to use android studio on a weak system is to disable some background tasks of your operating system. For example , in windows , it'll be better to disable the background services related to backup and update. In addition , cleaning the startup can help you save a part of your ram so that when you turn on your system , you wont have a list of background tasks using a part of your ram. In my idea , this problem (not having enough ram) can be solved by using the mentioned tricks (will not solve completely) but if you still had some problems using android studio , I will finally suggest linux instead of windows because it dedicates far smaller size of ram to itself (windows 10 will dedicate about 1 or 2 gb of ram but linux will use at most 1 gb) I have not used linux very much yet. I have only had kali and ubuntu for a short time but I will recommend you that if you needed to use linux instead of windows due to this problem , don't use ubuntu (i used and the performance was not good on my system and when i asked some professionals about it , they said this problem was because of genum). If you needed linux , it'll be better to talk to some professionals about it to find out which distribution of linux is better, faster and relevant in your case.
Relax!! I have 512 gb SSD and it's i5 0th gen and ram is 6 I guess
So it'll not be such bad👍🤷♂
SSD & CPU is fine But 6GB ram ??? I am guessing 4GB + 2GB 2GB stick maybe older You should replace 2GB one with same frequency 4GB stick to make it Dual Channel I have 16GB and Android Studio still eats most of it ( ~9GB average )
16 gb Ram Impressive!!
Yes Android Studio works better on linux At least for me Gnome is kinda heavy ( for lower ends devices ) KDE is medium XFCE is lightweight I recommend Pop OS ( Gnome ) Or Manjaro ( KDE - Minimal ISO) Or Manjaro ( XFCE - Minimal ISO )
Such nice 👌 Sorry , one question Which linux distribution is better to use?? And which one do you use?? How much gb of ram does it take?

It depends on you For begginers : Linux Mint Don't like frequent updates : Pop OS Like frequent updates : Manjaro I use Manjaro KDE ( minimal ISO and further cleaned up ) Uses ~500MB ram on boot
Ahan I am sorry 🙏
