You are storing a raw password in a database without hashing it with some salt. That's a very bad login / password protection scheme, the kind that can cause a lot of real world problems
Offtopic, but could've been cool if phone numbers were usually hashed.

Hashing is a one way operation, so I don't understand how it's useful
That's the point. So let's say you try to login to Google for example, they ask you to complete the phone number which ends in 2 digits. They could store the last 2 digits, so you would know which phone number it is, you enter the number and if the hashes match, they send the SMS.
