I guess it was a failed sdcard. It stopped to work under Windows now. Command was sudo mkdir -p /mnt/sdd && mount /dev/sdd1 /mnt/sdd in both Ubuntu and Gparted... seems like it was lucky when worked in Gparted.
Run sfc /scannow on Windows. Reboot after the scan and try again.
I left the place. If I have another chance to test it I will. But if I'm not wrong, sfc scans Windows system files for corruption, it has nothing to do with external drives. Chkdsk by the way didn't find any errors.
Yes. As you said, its an external SD Card. The FS could be corrupted. Or the SD has started to dying.
