Hi guys im confusing in use case of mipmap and

drawable directory !
Which place is the best to put my icons that use in activities ( not launcher icon ) the format of these icons are jpg or webP ?

Mipmap is for the app main icon. But if you wanna use some other icons in your app , (in fragments and activites....) you need to locate either the png or xml files in drawable folder and then use them Note that for the main icon of your app , it is neccassary to provide yout icon with different densities (hdpi , ....)
